Madhya Pradesh has launched an innovative scheme called PARTH Yojana (Police Army Recruitment Training & Hunar) to prepare its youth both physically and mentally for careers in the Indian Army, police, paramilitary forces, and other such services.

The scheme was unveiled by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav during the closing ceremony of the State-Level Youth Festival. This initiative seeks to foster patriotism, skill development, and employability among the state’s energetic and patriotic youth.

What is PARTH Yojana?

The PARTH Yojana, short for Police Army Recruitment Training and Hunar, is a targeted initiative designed to prepare the youth of Madhya Pradesh for recruitment in defense and law enforcement agencies. Under this scheme, candidates will receive comprehensive pre-recruitment training, which includes physical fitness preparation, written examination coaching (focusing on subjects like general knowledge, mathematics, and English), and personality development guidance. Training centers will be established at divisional levels, and the entire program will be overseen by district sports and youth welfare officers. Support will also come from rural youth coordinators and departmental employees.

Key Features of the Training Program

Physical Fitness Training: The program includes specialized fitness sessions designed to help candidates meet the rigorous physical standards required for recruitment in defense and paramilitary forces.

Written Examination Preparation: Subject experts will provide focused training on subjects like general knowledge, mathematics, and English, which are critical components of recruitment exams.

Personality Development: Soft skills and confidence-building sessions will be conducted to help candidates excel in interviews and other stages of the recruitment process.

Expert Trainers:-

  • Physical fitness trainers must hold qualifications such as BPED, BPE, or NIS Diploma and have experience as state-level athletes.
  • Academic training and personality development sessions will be conducted by part-time experts, including officials and employees from government and semi-government educational institutions. The program also allows hiring local experts outside government institutions, as decided by the Player-Coach Welfare Committee.
  • Self-Financed Model: The program operates on a self-funded basis, with participants required to pay a monthly training fee. The training fee structure will be determined by the Player-Coach Welfare Committee, which is responsible for managing the program’s sports infrastructure.

Eligibility and Qualifications

To ensure high-quality training, specific eligibility criteria have been set for the trainers and instructors involved in the program:

  • Physical Training Instructors: Must have professional qualifications such as BPED/BPE or an NIS diploma and should be state-level athletes.
  • Academic and Personality Development Trainers: Preferably government or semi-government institution officials/employees, although local experts may also be considered based on qualifications and experience.

MPYP Portal A Platform for Youth Empowerment

A key component of the PARTH Yojana is the development of the MPYP (Madhya Pradesh Youth Platform) Portal, which aims to bring all young individuals in the state onto a unified digital platform. This portal is designed to connect youth with opportunities in skill development, career guidance, and employment.

The MPYP Portal serves as an interactive space where young talents can hone their skills, showcase their potential, and create bright futures for themselves. It also aligns with broader initiatives to empower youth to contribute to societal development, focusing on areas such as poverty alleviation, gender equality, and agricultural growth.

Conclusion

The PARTH Yojana is a groundbreaking initiative that bridges the gap between aspirations and opportunities for Madhya Pradesh’s youth. By providing pre-recruitment training for the Army, police, and paramilitary forces, the scheme not only enhances employability but also instills a sense of national pride and discipline among its participants.

Through the MPYP Portal and the Yuva Prerak Abhiyan, the program offers a holistic approach to youth development, ensuring that every individual has the resources and support to achieve their potential. As the program gains momentum, it is set to become a model for other states, showcasing how targeted initiatives can transform the lives of young individuals while contributing to the nation’s growth and security.
